"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 65, we tested the newly designed 3D scanner "peel 3" to see how well it can handle dark-colored and black workpieces! During the scanning process of dark-colored and black workpieces, we implemented measures against noise, dropouts, setting changes, and spraying, and after multiple scans, have you ever experienced, "It took more time than I expected..." or "Correcting the captured data is tough..."? This time, we used the newly introduced "peel 3," which is equipped with an IR-VCSEL (infrared vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser) light source, making it stronger for dark and black colors, to verify what types of workpieces it can actually handle!
